Wellsprings

Songwriting sessions for people with mental health issues
Well Springs is a participatory music and songwriting project for adults with Mental Health issues; it is a partnership project with Herefordshire Mind. An initial 10 week programme (2018) was led by experienced professional workshop leader, Aidan Sheehan and designed to give people the opportunity to make music and write songs to express themselves, give them a voice and help deal with their mental health issues. Participants do not need to be referred, nor do they need to be registered with Herefordshire Mind to participate - they just need to get in contact with them to let them know they are coming.
These sessions are currently continuing remotely online during the Covid-19 pandemic, with further dates in 2020 (Oct - Dec 2020).
Herefordshire Mind, are Herefordshire's local mental health charity affiliated to Mind; the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. They have been developing and delivering quality services with, and for people with mental health problems in Herefordshire since 1978.
They are there because they believe that everyone should have good mental health and wellbeing & that no-one should face a mental health problem alone.

These sessions are supported by The Sam Morley Charitable Trust and the Henry Smith Charity
