The Garrick Singers

Singing group for people aged 60 or over, and/or retired

The Garrick Singers began in early 2013, as a partnership project with The Courtyard Centre for the Arts.
The group is led by the experienced and multi-talented musician, Olivia Preye, who also leads the Leominster Community Choir, along with many more creative music and community music projects.

The Garrick Singers is a very welcome part of the musical menu of provision, especially as it sees a revival of regular sessions for older and retired people, which sadly had to be suspended due to lack of funding back in 2010.
This weekly (school term time) group is open to anyone who is retired or aged 60 or over; it covers music of many styles, genres, traditions and languages. There are no auditions and there's no need to read music - just a willingness to join in and sing with us!
Sessions are currently taking place remotely online during the Covdi-19 pandemic. When we are once again able to run sessions in-person, they will be at The Courtyard from 2:00pm - 3:30pm at a cost of £5 per session. Please note that parking is payable separately.
