The Music Pool is a registered charity and as such we rely on a wide variety of support and donations in order to sustain the full range of high quality projects we commission and enable. We are very proud to make participatory musical and other arts activities available to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, especially aiming to help those least able to take part because of disability, illness, financial hardship, social or rural isolation. So much of this work goes beyond improving people's musical abilities - for many, it is valued for all the additional benefits of improving quality of life; whether through giving people a means to socialise with others, building confidence, helping with mental health issues or providing respite care. In these present times, it is increasingly a struggle to meet the costs of these operations.
