The Music Pool's SPLASH! Appeal, supported very kindly by Hereford Times, launched in December 2013 and ran for the majority of 2014.  This fundraising appeal was covered by the local paper, highlighting some of the work that we do in the community.

The December issue covered the launch of the Splash! Appeal with a brief round up of some of our past and current projects.

January covered our Youth Music project, Swingbridge which has brought pre-school music, movement and singing activities to 15 seperate locations in Hereford South Wye Hereford, Clehonger and Madley.  The project began in October 2012 and is due to end at the end of this month; The Music Pool successfully applied and secure funding to continue the project beyond March 2014.

February, covered Sing Spring In, a project commissioned by Herefordshire Music Service, which develops singing activities in 34 county schools, bringing singers from clusters of schools together for end of term culminatory events.

March issue focused on two of our recent youth projects, Livewire and OMG Herefordshire, which has revealed an amazing wealth of young talent in the county.

April reported on the revival of the Hereford River Carnival, which re-launched this year after a 41-year break.

May highlighted The Music Pool's regular sessions in some of Hereford's Special Needs schools and the positive effect the sessions have had on the pupils.

June was about our regular sessions for adults with various special needs, which have been incredibly popular with participants, other organisations in the sector and carers alike.

July covered the release of THE LIVEWIRE ALBUM 2014, which is now available to download off Livewire's Sound Cloud account on a 'pay what you like' basis.  Any funds raised will go to the Splash! Appeal to enable future Livewire projects.
