Well Springs

Songwriting sessions for those with Mental Health problems

WELL SPRINGS is a participatory music and songwriting project for adults with Mental Health issues; it is a partnership project between The Music Pool and Herefordshire Mind.  The initial 10 week programme (October - December 2018) were led by experienced professional workshop leader, Aidan Sheehan and is designed to give people the opportunity to make music and write songs to express themselves, give them a voice and help deal with their mental health issues.  Particpants do not need to be referred, nor do they need to be registered with Herefordshire Mind to participate - they just need to get in contact with them to let them know they are coming.
These sessions are currently continuing, with further dates in 2019 (February - April 2019).

Herefordshire Mind, are Herefordshire's local mental health charity affiliated to Mind; the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.  They have been developing and delivering quality services with, and for people with mental health problems in Herefordshire since 1978.
They are there because they believe that everyone should have good mental health and wellbeing & that no-one should face a mental health problem alone.

These sessions are supported by The Sam Morley Charitable Trust
