Fun, entertainment and participatory arts for older and retired people.
The Courtyard Club is quite a new idea for Herefordshire. We aim to promote arts and entertainment activities for older and retired people, on a monthly basis, with an emphasis on participatory activities.
It’s run by The Music Pool in partnership with The Courtyard, and funded by a grant from the National Lottery, via the Arts Council of England. A committee, made up of retired people, artists and managers, help us to plan our events.
How do I take
part?
There is usually a numbers limit to our events, so prior booking is always
advised. Bookings are made at the Courtyard’s box office:

There is a lunch break during our days! Customers on Courtyard Club activities receive a 20% discount on meals at the cafe/bar.
If you come to one of our days (or contact us at the Music Pool – Tel 01432 278118), we’ll take your details for the mailing list, and thereby keep you informed of future events. Otherwise, we keep the local media informed, and regularly place posters and fliers in libraries, clubs etc. Or of course you can look below!
Please be aware that the Courtyard has introduced parking charges, although Courtyard Club patrons will be allowed to pay a special reduced price. Ask the ticket office for details when making your booking.
