New Songwriting Project Launches

The Music Pool and Herefordshire Mind have partnered up to provide musical activities for people in Herefordshire

The Music Pool and Herefordshire Mind and have come to gether to launch a new songwriting project: WELL SPRINGS.

Starting this week (on Friday 12th October 2018), there will be a series of 10 weekly sessions at Heffernan House on Widemarsh Street.  These sessions will be led by experienced professional music leader and songwriter, Aidan Sheehan. 
WELL SPRINGS is for anyone interested in exdpressing themselves through song writing.  People wishing to participate in these sessions do not need to be registered with Herefordshire Mind, nor do they need to be referred.

"We are so please to be working with Herefordshire Mind again," commented Rob Strawson, Director of The Music Pool, "We have been wanting to create musical opportunities for those with mental health issues for quite some time.  Music is such a powerful, flexible medium to give young people and adults a way to express themselves and give them a voice.  We are incredibly grateful to Sam Morley Charitable Trust for their donation to The Music Pool, which has made this very important project possible."

The sessions will run every Friday for the next 10 weeks (12th October to 14th December 2018) from 11:30am - 1:30pm, costing £2 per session.

Anybody wanting to attend these sessions are asked to contact Herefordshire Mind to let them know they intend to come.
