Fabulous Auction Items Announced

Some amazing items have been revealed ahead of the upcoming fundraising Spring Fair at Hergest Croft on Monday 7th May 2018.

Helen Cotterell, The Music Pool's fundraising events organiser, has been busy coordinating with the team at Hergest Croft Gardens putting the final touches to the upcoming Spring Fair & Garden Auction on Monday 7th May 2018 (10:00am - 5:30pm).  She spoke to Tammy Gooding on BBC H&W (Tea at Three) earlier today about the event, which will include Raffles, Walks, over 40 Fair Exhibitors covering every aspects of garden traditions and a Fabulous Auction, hosted by Teddy Clive & Peter Hensher.   Below is a small peek at just some of the confirmed auction items:
  • Hergest Croft Gardens. A private visit for four people to the Banks’s home at Ridgebourne with lunch, followed by a garden tour accompanied by Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks and Head Gardener, Stephen Lloyd.  For more information: donated by Lawrence & Elizabeth Banks
  • A Riverside Sunday Lunch for Six, to include Prosecco on arrival and wine. Kindly donated by Tom & Helen Cotterell
  • Two Nights in a London Flat, on the canal at Little Venice, five minutes walk from Paddington Station. One double bedroom, TV & WIFI, private courtyard & communal gardens. Dates negotiable. Kindly donated by Jane Wheatley
  • A  Flowering Cherry Tree from The Tree Shop at Frank P Matthews Ltd, specialists in fruit and exotic trees. Kindly donated by Nick Dunn, Frank P Matthews Ltd
  • A £75 Voucher for The Tree Shop at Frank P Matthews Ltd, specialists in fruit and exotic trees. Kindly donated by Nick Dunn, Frank P Matthews Ltd
  • A Two Hour Session on The Potter’s Wheel with Personal Tuition from Kathy Priddis, an Experienced Potter. Kindly donated by Kathy & Anthony Priddis
  • A Day’s Fishing on 3 beats on the River Monnow, downstream from Grosmont, Herefordshire, with Anthony Priddis. Kindly donated by Anthony & Kathy Priddis
  • A Week in October/November 2018 for Two People in Haywood Cabin at Hergest Croft Gardens, with Free Access to the Gardens all week. A chance to experience the wonderful autumn colours. Kindly donated by Lawrence & Elizabeth Banks
  • Four complimentary tickets plus brochure to join a guided tour (max 15 people in tour) of Madresfield Court, followed by an opportunity to wander around the gardens. Kindly donated by John & Lucy Chevenix-Trench
  • A Cedrus Deodera (blue cedar). Kindly donated by Mellington Nurseries
  • An Evening of Musical Dance Entertainment with the Famous Local Bandemonium Ceilidh Band, excluding August. Kindly donated by Bandemonium
