Waitrose Hereford supports Jigsaw project

12th February 2016

Big Jigsaw, which the new up-coming Dancefest production 'The Magical Umbrella' is a part of, has been nominated as one of Waitrose Hereford's local charities this month

Waitrose Hereford have very kindly chosen Big Jigsaw as one of the three worthy charities, as part of their Community Matters initiative this month.  The three chosen charities are given a collection box at their local branch of Waitrose, with shoppers given green tokens to place in one of the three boxes.  The charities are then given a proportionate share of the 1000 available!

For those of you who shop at Waitrose in Hereford, based in the Old Market Shoping Centre, we would be very grateful to you, if you could drop your green counters into Dancefest's box for Big Jigsaw.

The Big Jigsaw is Dacnefest's programme of inclusive, accessible dance projects of which The Magical Umbrella, a joint Dancefest and Music Pool production, in partnership with The Courtyard, is a part of.

The Magical Umbrella marks the 7th 'Jigsaw' production that Dancefest, The Music Pool and The Courtyard have collaborated on, bringing a mixture of dance, theatre, live music and other art forms performed by a disabled and non- disabled company of local dancers, musicians and artists.  The production includes pupils attending Herefordshire and Worcestershire special schools.

Previous productions have included Mole in a Hole and The Enigma Express.
