Livewire is BACK!

1st October 2015

After a rather uncertain future, The Music Pool secures funding from Youth Music to continue the Livewire project

The popular youth music project, Livewire had a rocky future over the summer, when funding for the project was pending with no guarantees.  Thankfully, a recent application to The National Foundation for Youth Music had a positive result which meant that the project could continue until March 2016.

The funding allows The Music Pool to continue the Livewire project, which  includes weekly term-time Tuesday evening session at Castle Green Pavilion, Outreach sessions at schools and youth groups and the popular Livewire Central, a week-intensive course which runs during Half Term, leading to a gig at a Hereford venue.

Autumn Term 2015 dates for the weekly Tuesday Evening sessions at Castle Green can be found by clicking here.

The Music Pool are also very pleased to announce the dates for Autumn Livewire Central, which will be held at Castle Green Pavilion on Monday 26th - Friday 30th October, leading to an exclusive gig at The Imperial on Sunday 1st November 2015.

To book your place on Autumn Livewire Central, please complete the Booking Form and return it to The Music Pool.  The cost for the week is 50, there is a Music Production only option which costs 25.  If anybody has problems meeting those costs, there is a bursary available - all information is included in the Booking Form.
