14th June 2012
The second massed Gathering Wave rehearsal, attended by solists Njabulo Madlala and local talent Caitriona Turnbull, a great success
Choirs and singing groups from across Herefordshire, including school groups, gathered together for the second massed rehearsal for
The Gathering Wave performance. It was the first opportunity the group had to rehearse with baritone soloist, Njabulo Madlala and local soprano, Caitriona Turnbull.

The day's rehearsal was a complete success with the programme of songs, including especially commissioned composition by Benard Hughes (inspired by Hereford's own Mappa Mundi), taking shape in preparation for the performance in July.
The choirs were so fired up and enthused...there was a magical atmosphere in the room and everyone is really excited by what's to come said the Music Pool's Gathering Wave project manager, Dennis Schiavon,
it's all shaping up to be a performance not to be missed...To book tickets for The Gathering Wave on Saturday 28th July 2012 (7:45pm) at Hereford Cathedral, call 0845 652 1823 or for online bookings click here
