Coming up…

Sat 10 July2010 - Deep Elem

Deep Elem

They’ve not been here since 2004, but they’re back, with a treat to finish off the Saturday season in style. Ben Walsh & Ben Church, some guitars and banjos, and the best in American bluegrass music.
"What do you call it when Americana sneaks back across the Atlantic and adds British influences? UKana? Amelanda? Whatever it ends up getting called, Deep Elem are well on their way to giving the music an identity. The core of their sound definitely draws from Americana and its forefathers, but there’s something else - t’s like mountain music mixed with the rolling English hills and the resulting hybrid is very listenable." This Midlands duo will play a variety of American roots music both old and new, including songs from their album 'Lost in the Woods'.

SUMMER BREAK - that's the last gig before our summer break. We'll be back on . . .

Sat 11 Sept 2010 - Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters

Bridget

Here's bridget back here again, with her fine musicians, taking us back to the gin-joints and speakeasys of the 1930s, and paying that wonderful tribute to the great women of the Blues.
